Meaning Behind the Name

In Norse mythology, Odin is associated with wisdom, healing, death, royalty, the gallows, knowledge, battle, sorcery and poetry. Odin is depicted as one-eyed and long-bearded, wielding a spear, wearing a cloak and a broad hat. He is often accompanied by his two wolves and two ravens, who bring him information. He rides a flying, eight-legged steed, named Sleipnir.
