I like one of your rings that is sold out, can you recreate something similar?
Yes! If you see a piece that has been sold, we can remake another one the same, similar or with customizations. Every stone is unique and one of a kind, so there may be slight differences.

Can I see your jewellery in person?
Yes, you can see a collection of Areasus work at Made You Look jewellery studio in Toronto.
Do you use conflict-free stones and ethical metals?
Yes, all metals and stones are ethically sourced from reputable Toronto and Canadian suppliers. All stones are certified conflict-free and follow stringent ethical guidelines.
Where is your jewellery made / who makes it?
All Arsaeus jewellery is individually designed and handmade by Heather in Toronto, Canada. She also partners with a few local craftspeople for stone cutting, stone setting, engraving and metal casting.
How do I figure out a ring size?
We can size your finger in person at our Toronto studio. Otherwise, our best advice is to visit your local jewellery store to have your/their finger professionally sized. Most jewellers offer this as a free service. Keep in mind that fingers can fluctuate in size over the course of a day and can be affected by the temperature outside and the seasons. Try to get measured multiple times to get an average ring size.
If the ring is for someone else and is a surprise, your best bet is to measure the interior diameter of a ring they own in millimeters. It is imperative that the ring being measured is worn on the same hand and finger the ring is intended for (every finger size is different and your dominant hand is usually slightly bigger).
Can my ring be re-sized?
Yes! If you purchased an Arsaeus ring or your custom order ring doesn't fit you just right, we offer your first sizing complimentary.

How do I care for my new jewellery?
Always remove your jewellery during heavy activity. We recommend cleaning your jewellery with warm water, dish soap and baking soda and gently scrubbing with a soft toothbrush. Avoid using harmful chemical cleaners.

Do you offer payment plans / financing?

I like one of your designs, but I want to make a few changes - is that possible?
Yes, Arsaeus specializes in custom work! We can change the metal karat or color, stone type, setting type, add or take away certain details.

What is the custom process?

How long does a custom piece take to make?
The design process can take as little as 1 week, a few weeks, or even months. This will vary for each project depending on the complexity. You determine the pace you're comfortable with until we perfect your concept.
Production time can take approximately 4-10 weeks once you've approved your design, again this will depend on the complexity of the piece. If there is a specific deadline, we will do our best to accommodate!
How soon can I see a design?
Following a discussion of your design ideas, it can take up to 1 week to create preliminary sketches of your concept. Then, when we've established a direction for your design, you can expect to see a 3D CAD rendering within 1-2 weeks.
Does it cost anything to have a consultation?
We offer a complimentary phone/video consultation to discuss your design ideas and price out options. If you're in the Toronto area, we do offer in-person meetings for a fee. Book a Consultation.
Can we work together remotely?
Yes, we can absolutely work together to create a custom piece 100% virtually and is the case for our out of town and international clients. We can correspond over email, schedule phone or video calls.
In-person collaboration and meetings are not required and may not always be necessary, depending on your project and your preference! Every scenario is different.
Can I use my own gold or stones?
Yes, we can recycle your heirloom gold and gemstones! It is the most ethical choice for creating a new piece. This process is subject to location - all gold/stones will need to be inspected in person and will be determined on a case-by-case basis, as not all materials will be suitable for repurposing.
How much does a custom piece cost?
A custom piece can start at $1,000 and go up to $10,000 or more, depending on your vision, the stones, and the complexity of details. We will guide you through options that will work within your budget to create a beautiful and meaningful custom piece.

Where do you ship to?
We ship to most countries worldwide, however there are a handful of countries we don’t ship to due to restrictions or customs regulations.

When will I receive my order? What are shipping time estimates?
In-stock items are ready to ship within 2-3 business days.
If a piece requires sizing, please allow 1-2 weeks before shipping.
Made-to-order pieces can take 4-6 weeks for production before shipping.

What payment methods do you accept?
Arsaeus Designs accepts payments through Paypal, any major credit and debit cards, as well as Interac e-Transfers.
All prices are in Canadian dollars ($CAD).
Policies
Do you offer a warranty or insurance?
We stand behind our craftsmanship 100% and offer a 1 year warranty for our gold wedding rings and custom orders. The warranty covers your first free sizing, any repairs due to any material or fabrication defects, and any small stone loss. We include a certificate of authenticity/appraisal for you to give your insurance provider.
We do not sell insurance for your jewellery or center stones in cases of loss or damage. We highly recommend insuring your jewellery under a homeowners/tenants insurance policy.

What is your return policy?
All items purchased online are final sale. Due to the nature of our handmade jewellery, we do not accept returns or exchanges. Please ensure you are satisfied with your item choice prior to purchasing.
All Arsaeus custom made orders are final sale and are non-refundable, as they are made one-of-a-kind specifically for you. We confirm all your details and estimates for your custom project prior to creating your piece. We also update you in the process along the way to ensure you are happy with your concept. Please ask as many questions as needed to ensure you are satisfied with your choices. Any deposits, partial payments, and rush fees are non-refundable for work completed. Any alteration requests after the piece is completed will be subject to fees.
