How does Affirm work?
Place your order with Arsaeus Designs using Affirm. You can split your purchase into easy, automatic monthly payments.

  1. Add your order item(s) to the shopping cart and select Affirm as your payment method at checkout (for orders between $300 and $15,000).
  2. Get set up: Use your mobile phone number to set up your Affirm plan within 60 seconds.
  3. Choose your payment plan with Affirm and Arsaeus Designs will proceed with your order.
  4. Make payments over 3, 6, or 12 months to Affirm while you enjoy your jewellery!

Affirm will automatically charge monthly payments using your preferred method of payment.

How do I apply?
If you are eligible, Affirm payment plan options will be presented at checkout: 'Pay in 4' or 'Monthly payments.' After confirming your phone number, you’ll be sent a one-time SMS password to confirm your identity. You’ll then enter a few details for an instant decision. If you’re approved, you will set up your repayment method with Affirm and accept the terms of your payment plan.

Are there requirements to use Affirm?
Yes. You’ll need:

  • To be the age of majority in your province
  • To be a Canadian permanent resident or citizen
  • 18 years of age (AB, MB, ON, PEI, QC, SK)/ 19 Years of age (BC, NB, NF, NT, NS, NU, YK)
  • Depending on the plan you select, options include a Canadian bank account, or a Visa/Mastercard credit/debit card. Your debit card must have the Visa or Mastercard logo
  • An SMS-capable Canadian phone number
  • To meet the minimum cart size required to use Affirm as a payment option at checkout
  • How do I make my payments?
  • At checkout, you will set up convenient, pre-authorized monthly payments that will be debited/charged to your Canadian bank account, or a Visa/Mastercard credit/debit card.

Which payment methods are accepted?
Affirm currently accepts pre-authorized debits from your Canadian bank account, or a Visa/Mastercard credit/debit card. Debit cards must have the Visa or Mastercard logo. Please note that prepaid cards are not accepted. Visa credit cards are unavailable for interest-bearing monthly payment plans. For interest-bearing payment plans, you may use a bank account, or a debit card with the Visa or Mastercard logo.

When will my payments begin? And what if I have pre-order products?
Please refer to the payment plan agreement for all of your payment schedule information.

If you finance your custom order with Affirm - your payments, including interest, will begin before you receive your item. Please note, that if you decide to cancel your order, you may not receive a rebate on any interest that may have already accrued on payments for design work completed up to that point.

How much can I spend with Affirm?
Affirm payment plans are available for Arsaeus Designs orders up to $15,000 CAD.
