Meaning Behind the Name
Kronos is the god of time and the ages, especially time regarded as destructive and all-devouring. He is an incorporeal being with three heads, that of a man, a bull, and a lion. He also possesses a serpentine tail. The old god of time or, ‘father time,’ turns the wheel of the heavenly constellations.
