Meaning Behind the Name

Beiwen is named after a Saami (Indigenous people inhabiting Finland) goddess representing the sun and spring, associated with the fertility of plants and animals, particularly reindeer.  Beiwen turned the hills green with growing plants for the reindeer to feed and flourish.
